Accessibility statement

Last updated 24 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to look at the residences, compare them and get in touch. This page says what we have done, how we checked it and where the site falls short.

The standard

The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, level AA.

What we have done

  • Every page has one main heading, landmarks for the header, main content and footer, and a skip link that appears when you press Tab.
  • Text contrast is at least 4.5 to 1, and most body text is above 11 to 1.
  • Every control can be used with a keyboard. In the 3D tower, the up and down arrow keys change the floor, Enter opens the floor page and Escape returns focus to the page.
  • The tower has a text alternative. Every fact it shows is also in a list or a table, and the unit finder works without the 3D view.
  • Form fields have visible labels, errors are described next to the field and read out by screen readers, and the result of a submission is announced.
  • Animation is switched off if your system asks for reduced motion. The tower becomes a still image and every section is simply present.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 pixels square.
  • Availability is never shown by colour alone. Each status also has a word and a pattern.

How we checked

Every page is tested automatically with axe in the end to end suite on each change, at a phone width and a desktop width. Browser tests operate the unit finder, the 3D tower and both forms with the keyboard alone, and a reflow test confirms that no page scrolls sideways at 360 pixels wide.

What does not work yet

  • The site has been checked with automated tools and keyboard tests. It has not yet been tested with screen readers by the people who rely on them every day, and we would welcome that feedback.
  • The stylised neighbourhood map is a drawing. The same places and walking times are listed beside it in text.
  • Floor plans are schematic SVG drawings with room labels. They are not dimensioned architectural plans.

Tell us

If something on the site does not work for you, write to sales@estate.phoenixcodes.org or ring +1 555 0142 and tell us what you were trying to do. We will answer within three working days and, where we can, fix it in the next release.
